Abstract
The article analyses the process of creating a contemporary graphic novel from concept to final realisation in the context of a new cultural paradigm. The research is based on the theory of digital modernism, which reinterprets traditional approaches to authorship and creativity. Using the example of the author’s project ‘Sudovyi Akt’ (Court Act), the article examines the specifics of constructing a noir narrative, working with the architectonics of comics, and the role of the author as a curator of visual meanings. Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) is presented in the study as a relevant tool of our time, allowing one person to realise the entire production cycle of a graphic narrative, overcoming technical barriers and opening up new opportunities for experimentation with form.
